Abigail Ministries was founded in 1990 to focus on helping men and women make informed pregnancy decisions. Since then, we strive to help them choose life for their unborn children by helping them understand their options, providing encouragement and support, and meeting some of the physical needs they have.
As a ministry, we care about both their physical and spiritual wellbeing. We educate, encourage and empower our clients. We operate two crisis pregnancy centers: our original center in Norwalk and a center in Willard.
All services are provided free of charge to our clients.
Confidentiality is essential. All information shared by our clients during their relationship with the center and its representatives will be kept in the strictest confidence, except as required by law or as required for the protection of our clients or others.
Abigail Ministries is affiliated with Care Net, a Christian network of care centers for women and men in crisis pregnancy situations. It is the largest network of its kind having more than 1,000 crisis pregnancy centers with trained staff and volunteers. Our affiliation with Care Net helps to ensure that we are following high standards of integrity in all areas of our ministry, including the information we share with clients and our financial handlings.
Abigail Ministries is also affiliated with the National Institute of Family and Life Advocates (NIFLA). Founded in 1993, NIFLA provides life-affirming pregnancy resource centers with legal counsel, education, and training. Providing critical counsel to pregnancy resource centers to enable them to avoid legal pitfalls in their operations.
